In April 2019, Arts Revive along with Blue Magnolia Films, local and statewide Alabama partners, hosted a community storytelling workshop to commemorate the Alabama Bicentennial and upcoming #Selma200 Anniversary.

Arts ReviveSelma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism InformationBlackbelt Benefit Group and The City of Selma, in partnership with Blue Magnolia Films, premiered a series of eight photo documentaries, produced by local community leaders, to commemorate the Alabama Bicentennial and upcoming Selma200 Anniversary.

Participants/stories in the project include: Afriye Wekandodis (By The River Center For Humanity), Patty Sexton & Beth Spivey (St. James Hotel), Joanne Bland & Kimberly Smitherman (Journeys for the Soul with JoAnne Bland), Vicky Stoudenmire (Arts Revive), Richard Clay Carmichael (Blackbelt Benefit Group), Linda Derry (Old Cahawba Archeological Park/Alabama Historical Commission), Jawana Jackson & Pride Forney (The Jackson Foundation and Museum) and Ronnie Leet & Amy Milligan (Temple Mishkan Israel).
