Help us turn 136 Maxey St. into a space for young artists in Selma to develop skills that will enhance their future! We need YOUR help to transform this building into a creative hub for our youth to develop as artists, learn new skills, and use these skills to enhance our community. It is by working together that we can see Selma thrive! Come out and join Arts Revive and Cougar Oil Sept. 21 at 9am to be apart of the new beginning for something great in Selma!
This space will serve as an outlet for young artists to develop their arts literacy and be included as meaningful contributors in the social and economic aspects of Selma. With the assistance of professional artists, community members and chaperones, the youth will be heavily involved in the design process of the building. Once complete, this space will be used to host various art classes and activities to give young artists valuable skills that can help their future while encouraging them to view art as a form of expression and as a product of sale. The skills they gain in this space will be able to be outsourced as a commodity to our community!
